Let's finish the treasure map

Questions to ask your child

- What will they meet along the way?
- Who will they share the treasure with?
Adjust for your child’s age
- Around age 4
- Connecting the dotted line to the X and drawing one treasure chest there finishes it.
- Ages 6–7
- Have them add three or more obstacles along the way, like mountains, rivers, or caves, and talk through how to get past each one.
After drawing: try this
Hide a small treat somewhere at home and go on a treasure hunt using a map like the one they drew.
Try it together
- Use the lines of the sketch as a starting point and let your child decide the shapes, colors and how many. The key is not to draw it for them.
- Draw shapes with the pencil and color them with 🪣 Fill — even the youngest children can finish this way. Mistakes disappear with ↶ Undo.
- When it’s done, ask “What did you draw?” and listen to the explanation. Tap 💾 Save to keep it as a PNG.
