What does the cloud look like?
Clouds of all different shapes are floating by. Say what animal or object each cloud reminds you of, then add eyes, ears, or legs to turn it into one.

Adjust for your child’s age
- Around age 4
- Have them draw eyes and a mouth on one cloud to turn it into a face.
- Ages 6–7
- Decide what each cloud looks like, then turn it into an animal or object by adding ears, legs, or a tail.
After drawing: try this
Lie outside looking up at the clouds and play “What does that one look like?”
Try it together
- Before drawing, read the question “What does the cloud look like?” aloud and let your child tell you their idea first.
- There is no right answer. The sillier the idea, the better — say “That’s fun!” and your child will draw more boldly.
